About the Facility:

Florida Hospital Pepin Heart Institute is the first all-digital cardiovascular specialty facility in the Southeast. Opened in 2006, this freestanding heart hospital located on the campus of Florida Hospital Tampa is filled with the advancements in technology, techniques and revolutionary patient-centered care. The hospital includes a pre/post-cardiovascular interventional unit, five surgical suites, 10 catheterization/invasive procedure suites, additional diagnostic equipment and comprehensive rehabilitation program.

Florida Hospital Pepin Heart Institutes's team of physicians and clinical specialist have built a comprehensive cardiovascular program with the experience of providing over 76,000 angioplasty procedures and more than 11,000 open heart surgeries. The hospital opened the area's first accredited Chest Pain Emergency Room, providing the community with a gold standard of care in acute cardiovascular medicine.
